Kate McMahon is the Occupational Therapist behind Kids & Co.Lab. Passionate about helping others to find solutions that will improve the lives of their child and family, she has spent the last 10 years serving in community-based positions with children and young adults.

Prior to starting Kids & Co.Lab, Kate held positions at AEIOU Foundation, an early intervention service for children with ASD, and Montrose Therapy & Respite Services, a multi-disciplinary therapy service. Both of these roles taught her the power of collaborating with other health professionals, education staff, support workers, and most importantly families to achieve therapeutic outcomes.

Kate’s personal values include family, reliability, and altruism. She founded Kids & Co.Lab to sit alongside these personal values. Outside her work hours, you will find Kate spending time with her family at a local cafe or outdoors at the beach and local parks. You may also find her looking after herself at yoga or wheelchair basketball, or volunteering her time at events like Disability Surfing Australia, or as a Committee Member of Sunshine Coast Disability Action Network.
